It was Vanessa's birthday and she spent the whole day

at U of M with her dad seeing many doctors, and going

through many tests. I stayed with my grandkids as Van

did'nt have a babysitter and I was not familiar with driving

in the Ann Arbor area. Andy and I planned a surprise birthday

for her that evening.
